1. To check up the pump on deterioration presence. In need of replacement of one rotor it is necessary to replace both rotors as they represent picked up pair. If rotors are suitable for the further use before to start dismantling, to put a label on the forward party of an external rotor for correct subsequent assemblage.
2. To note a relative positioning of a cover of the oil pump and the pump case, then to unscrew and remove bolts and spring washers. To uncover.
3. Cautiously to take rotors from the case.
4. With the help кернера to punch an aperture in a condensing stopper редукционного the valve (it is necessary to establish a new stopper).
5. Screw up the self-cutting screw and with the help рожкового a key to take a sealing stopper.
6. Carefully to clear all details in gasoline or kerosene and dry to wipe a fabric. To check up backlashes by means of a steel ruler and a set щупов. The most important are backlashes: between ledges of the central rotor and convex parts of an external rotor; between a rotor and the pump case; between both rotors and a flat face cover.
7. A backlash between ledges of rotors to check up by means of a set щупов, the backlash size should be within 0,05–0,20 mm.
8. The backlash size between an external rotor and the pump case should be within 0,15–0,30 mm.
9. To establish a steel ruler on an end face of the pump and to measure a backlash between rotors and a ruler. The backlash of each rotor should be within 0,03–0,10 mm.
10. In case only sizes of face backlashes exceed demanded values, backlashes can be reduced, for this purpose it is necessary to remove rotors and to make grinding in of a face surface of the case on притирочной to a plate, yet will demanded backlashes are reached. It is necessary to underline that the face surface of the case should remain flat and perpendicularly located to a rotor axis. If sizes of two other backlashes do not correspond to the values resulted in subsection 3.3.1, it is necessary to replace the pump with the new.
11. Carefully to clear all details, to establish into place редукционный the valve and a spring and slightly to grease with engine oil.
12. With the help a small beard of the corresponding diameter to establish into place a new condensing stopper (the flat party – outside) at level with a surface of a flange of a reception branch pipe.
13. To grease both rotors with engine oil and to establish in the case. To establish a cover of the oil pump and to fix its four bolts, to tighten them gradually on a diagonal till the demanded moment.
14. To establish a drive shaft in a power shaft of a rotor and to check up, whether the rotor freely turns.
15. Establish into place a reception branch pipe and the mesh filter.
