Replacement of a regulator of pressure and generator brushes can be made, without removing the generator from the engine.
It is possible to make separate removal of brushes and a regulator. GENERATOR BOSCH
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. To remove a wire of weight from the accumulator. |
| 2. To unscrew 3 bolts and to remove the heat-shielding screen. |
| 3. To unscrew 2 screws of fastening of a regulator of pressure and, being careful, to take a regulator. |

4. To check up length of graphite brushes (distance) which should be not less than 5 mm. |
|
5. For replacement of coal brushes it is necessary отпаять токоподводы, to take the worn out brushes and springs, to establish new brushes with springs in a nest of a regulator and to solder токоподвод so that length of brushes made 10 mm. At a ration not to suppose gumboil and solder hit on токоподвод, except a soldering place (1 – brushes, 2 – springs of a clip of brushes, 3 – the holder of brushes). |

| 4. To unscrew a back cover of the generator. |

5. To disconnect wires from a regulator, to unscrew a connecting plate, the fixing screw of a regulator and to take a regulator (1 – the screw, 2 – a plastic lining, 3 – a connecting plate, 4 – a regulator). |

6. To unscrew screws (fastenings of graphite brushes are specified by an arrow) and to take brushes from the holder. |
| 7. To check up length of graphite brushes which should be not less than 5 mm. |
