1. To remove a suspension bracket rack.
2. To clamp the bottom part of a rack of a suspension bracket in a vice.
3. To establish the adaptation 14.021 for compression of springs and to compress a suspension bracket spring.
4. To unscrew a nut of fastening of a basic lining of a rack of a suspension bracket, blocking a rod of the shock-absorber a key for шестигранных nests of 6 mm.
5. To take a basic lining, the basic bearing, the top basic plate of a spring, a rubber casing, and also the compressed spring together with the adaptation.
6. To remove the rubber buffer from a shock-absorber rod.
7. To check up a condition of details and cleanliness of basic plates of a spring.


To collect a suspension bracket rack, carrying out actions in return sequence in relation to removal process. To pay attention to correct installation of a spring in basic plates.


The faulty shock-absorber can be defined to following signs:

  – Car rocking at movement on road with periodic roughnesses;
  – Not fading fluctuations of a body at movement on rough road;
  – Strong inclinations of the car at dispersal and braking;
  – Presence of knocks at car movement;
  – Insufficient coupling of a wheel of the car, especially on turns.

Check of a condition of the shock-absorber is made at the stand, however roughly the shock-absorber condition can be defined, extending and pressing a shock-absorber rod. Thus the effort to all length of a course of a rod of the shock-absorber should be uniform and identical, without extraneous noise.
